The Village of Louisville will be flushing hydrants between the hours of 8:00 am – 4 pm the week of September 11-20th.
What to expect:
- Discoloration of water
- Some temporary fluctuation in water pressure
- Although discolored water is safe it can stain clothes
Instructions for residents:
- Avoid doing laundry the flushing hours to prevent staining clothes
- Run a cold tap for a few minutes to clear any discoloration
